Audiobook Now Available!

That’s right, To Hold Forever, Book 7 in the Somerville Series, is now available as an audiobook! That’s the first 7 books featuring Lex & Amanda, now available to listen from Audible. Here’s the blurb:

Two and a half years have passed since Lex and Amanda Walters agreed to take care of Jeannie’s baby while she recuperated from her stroke. Just as they’ve gotten comfortable in their life, the happy couple are thrown for a loop when Jeannie returns, bearing some unsettling news and ideas of her own.

While they struggle with the shock of Jeannie’s disclosure, a stranger claiming to be Lex’s half-brother lands on Lex and Amanda’s doorstep. Cleve Winters is resentful of Lex’s life and is determined to take what he thinks he deserves – including Amanda. To make matters worse, Lex’s brother, Hubert, returns to Somerville after he’s released from prison. He has his own plans. As everything comes to a head, Amanda shares with Lex the biggest surprise of all. With a lien placed against the Rocking W, will Lex be able to keep control of the ranch? More importantly, will she want to?

After Christmas Sale

T’was the day after Christmas, and a book is on sale – don’t ask me to rhyme anything, it could get ugly!

Seriously, I’ve put my rodeo book, Diving Into the Turn on sale for only $0.99 until January 2nd, so that should give you plenty of time to grab it at a discount. It’s how Shelby and Rebecca met, before they became friends with Lex & Amanda. You can find the book on Amazon if you’re interested.

We had a nice holiday, my brother and nephew both came over to watch some football, and we had a good visit, too. The dogs behaved themselves, which was a miracle in itself. Irish, our Chihuahua/Rat Terrier mix, fell in love with both guys and spent the day in each of their laps.

Here he is, using me as a mattress.

Cinnamon pretty much followed me around, as usual, and Penny slept through the day. Although my nephew did take her outside for one of her many potty trips (she’s blind and needs a little help finding the backyard).

I hope everyone had a safe and happy holiday!

Surprise! It’s Early!

I’m not going to complain – but the audiobook for The Way Things Should Be is now available at Audible! As you know, it’s the sixth book in the Somerville Series (with Lex & Amanda), and here’s the blurb:

Amanda Cauble-Walters is thrilled as her sister, Jeannie, prepares for the birth of her first child. Amanda’s elation is offset by the compelling desire to have a child of her own, but she fears that her wife, Lex, doesn’t want children.

Lex is so busy trying to hang onto newly acquired land that she doesn’t realize what’s going on with Amanda. When a stranger claiming to be a long-lost relative insinuates herself into the family, Lex sees red.

The tragic loss of someone dear to them dampens the joy of Jeannie’s baby, bringing pain – and hope, to them all.

And in other news, book SEVEN is under contract with the brilliant April Lee. We’re over halfway to having all the Lex & Amanda books on Audible – how cool is that?

Until next time, my friends. Stay safe and hydrate if you’re in this damned heat wave!

New audiobook coming soon!

Wow, time is just flying by these days. I’m excited to announce that the audiobook for The Way Things Should Be (book 6 in the Somerville Series) will be out on audio on July 20th! Not only that, but the next book in the series has been assigned to my wonderful narrator, April Lee.

I’ll post more about that in the coming weeks. But stay on the lookout for book 6!

Breaking down in a small town can be dangerous – and not just to Sam’s heart.

All of her life Janie Clarke has been told what to do. First by her father, then by the boyfriend her father picked out. Already disillusioned with life in the small town of Piperton, Janie feels trapped until a stranger arrives and gives her a reason to rebel.

Sam Hendrickson’s travels have taken her all over the Southwest. She’s never stayed in one place long enough to call it home. Doing odd jobs to pay for her food and gas, she thinks her life is just fine. Until Fate intervenes. On her way to Dallas, her car breaks down in the run-down town of Piperton. Sam’s never concerned herself over what other people think, but the small minds of a West Texas town may be more than she bargained for – especially when she meets Janie.

Their uneasy friendship causes events to unfold that threaten to change everything, and Sam unwittingly becomes the catalyst to alter not only Janie’s life, but the lives of others – including her own.
