Six years after To Hold Forever, Lex and Amanda are back – struggling through a drought, a depressed local economy, and raising their two daughters as best they can.

 

Lorrie is now ten and proving herself to be every bit Lex’s daughter, while six-year-old Melanie is content to tag along in their, “what next?” adventures.
